About
Sandro Morales-Santoro is an award-winning Venezuelan composer based in Los Angeles, specializing in music for film, television, and interactive media. His eclectic style is the result of a journey from popular and folk music in Venezuela, through a classical music education, to jazz and electronic influences during his studies in the US.
A Berklee College of Music graduate (summa cum laude, 2009), Sandro has built a prolific career in Hollywood. His recent work includes scoring Marvel Animation's The Secret History of Venom, National Geographic/Disney+'s Restaurants At The End of the World, and contributing original music to Netflix's Outer Banks and Hulu's Good Trouble. His film The Shadow of the Sun earned a nomination for the Hollywood Music In Media Awards and was Venezuela's submission for the Best Foreign Picture Oscar.
Sandro is a voting member of the TV Academy (Emmys) and the Recording Academy (Grammys), Co-President of the Composers Diversity Collective, a member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists, and a fellow of the Cannes Marche Du Film's "Spot The Composer" program.
